Bakalao Display is our first typeface family designed to honor La Ruta.
A journey through Valencia from the early 80s to the mid-90s, a route through the city’s subversive side, its lights and shadows, its iconic places, and the protagonists of a sociocultural phenomenon that placed it at the forefront of European modernity.
It is inspired by the concept of “parkineo”, the early signs of raves and massive parking lot parties. It draws from the visual language of highway signage at the same time.
